Getting healthy at work has never been easier!

Have you ever wanted to Get Healthy at Work, but are not too sure how to go about it, or how to fund it? Get Healthy at Work is a FREE NSW Government initiative that aims to help improve the health of working adults, by giving workplaces tools and support to identify the biggest health issues, and in turn make changes for the better!

It is open to NSW Businesses of 5-500 employees.

The program helps to improve the health of working adults
by giving workplaces tools, equipment, services and support to address:

No matter what industry you’re in or the size of your workplace, Get Healthy At Work makes it easy for you to identify the biggest health issues facing your workplace and make changes for the better.

How it works:

1
Register your Company - Vitality Works will then contact you to complete a workplace review. We will scope out your demographics, facilities, working conditions, and more.

2
Employee Health Assessment – All workforces are different, so it is important to determine what areas of health need a stronger focus. This is done through one-to-one basic health checks with your employees. The more uptake, the better.

3
Implement the Action Plan – The action plan will outline the areas where the funding will be allocated. It will also outline the implementation process, including tips on how to achieve optimal results.

4
Monitor and Review – After a few months of implementation, it is important to review the effectiveness, so we can identify areas for optimisation. Is the equipment being used? Should we implement educational courses? How do we achieve lasting behaviour change?

“As part of our Action Plan, I think we have made great improvements since the Vitality Works workshops – lots of healthy eating, people making salads, healthy lunch options. Our meeting / events catering has healthier choices.”

“It was an absolute pleasure having Angelo here. The staff absolutely loved him and connected to him. Angelo is very passionate about health and I would like to say a big thank you on behalf of all staff at Brush Farm.”
